Normally ive always installed the following on my pc's
    avast antivirus
    advanced system care
    malwarebytes
    auslogic disk defrag.

should i install these on my lap top? I installed the avast but wondering about the advanced system care..

Microsoft Security Essentials and MBAM. Let Windows 7 handle the defrag. I also use CCleaner.

+1 on Security Essentials. It's free and I've had great success with it.

I installed Sandboxie and run my browser in it. It is supposed to contain potential malware within an easily deletable virtual machine. I have yet to have any problems with it.

I only use Microsoft Security Essentials for the past 2 years. Nothing worse than what it can handle will happen if you know your way around the net
