Yeah, apparently the seller never got my message on ebay, but it shows up in my sent folder. Anyways, he says he'll message me once he gets some in. I've been in contact with another seller, and if I can get a invoice/quote for the deal I can get, he might match it. Now I'm just playing the waiting game. The one's that have been listed lately in the sale forum are priced a little too steep (imo) for a cpu that will almost be 2 years old.

A CPU that slaps almost all Ivy Bridge LOL. I picked up mine really cheap from a random seller, and I can see a few good deals on eBay too. OEMs will probably become more expensive in the future like with OEM 920/940XMs.

That's exactly why I run 42/41/40 now Slick, as games aren't taxing. No need to change multipliers either as I can easily lower them in Throttlestop when I set something to render. 4.5Ghz all cores for benchmarks - 30k Vantage CPU, highest I've seen an M17x do. :)

there are definitely some deals to be had on the 2920 if you keep your eyes open. The problem is, when there is a deal, it gets swooped up fast. I bought my 2920oem for $350. As soon as i saw the deal, i jumped on it...but i've since sold it at a slight profit

this will work in the R3...non-es means it is not an engineering sample. The seller states that it is an oem chip

Thanks a lot. It's really overkill and not needed, but it was something that I just wanted to put in my system.

Now I'm contemplating on what to buy next since I still have a few bucks left over :)
