Is the 7970m able to use x-fire on the r2? are they the most stable cards for a "non-supported" upgrade or is there a better AMD one? I have no intention of overclocking anything, just looking for a big upgrade from my 4850's. also trying to loose as little functionality as possible... i.e. sleep mode/ close lid, run on bat(short life PSU)

7970m is what you want. Best to get clevo branded and you may have to mod a higher power brick to get crossfire to work properly.

    Hello there,

can I use the 6970M VBIOS for my 6990M graphics card or do I need another Bios? Both graphics cards use different memory manufacturers. A card has memory from Hynix, a graphics card has memory from Samsung. Can the bios at Samsung and Hynix memories are used?

Works Audio and video over HDMI in this bios?

    Many thanks for your help,

    Stephan
