how much were the temperatures for that massive overclock ? what were the core and memory overclocks ?? i cannot find in 3dmark11 site

also is this overclock fake ?? see the below link

I know for sure you can uprade your gpu to 770m 780m 880m and people are curently testing the 970m 980m in the latest alienware machines as we speak. As far as heatsink your 765m heatsink will work with the 770M . 780m and up you will need to change your heatsink from the two pipe to the three pipe to properly cool the gpu. I know that this don't answer all your questions but it a start .

Your 765M is a 65W GPU it should run very cool compared to the 100W counterparts & There are very few people here with a <100W GPU and even my system is a 75W one unfortunately, My best advice would be if you can afford a GTX780M it would be a massive upgrade or you can wait until we get a stable setup of GTX980M as it has issues on our AW machines atm (Throttling, UEFI requirement), Once those issues get sorted out we can consider the upgrade

Needs a 100W for both 780M/980M & for the X-bracket It would be best to worry about that when your 980M plus the 780M fits fine on these machines without any changes..

i upgrade my aw17 from gtx765m to 780m and i'm waiting my 980m. there is a thread where i show hot to upgrade and/or cut m17x r3/4 heatsink 100w with pads. but using the 75W is ok, your gpu will match 80 85degres instead of 70 75. Something like that if i remember for a gtx780m. About 980m, i will cumpare both 75W and 100W old mod heatsink when i get it.. :)
X bracket are the same for Dell, i even succeed to put a dell x bracket in a clevo, so no worries..
Yes, you can upgrade the screen but it will not be easy, i read problems if you try to buy peace by peace..but if you buy a full assembled allready, no problem.
