I've been using 92W/72A all of the time and haven't noticed any high temps or any other problems. I also have the BIOS OC set to 5% and 75mv. I only use throttlestop to set my TDP/TDA, I don't have any other settings checked. I have not decided if I want to OC my GPU's yet since my first set died and I just got them replaced.

I had my GPU's at 800/1100 before they died, and I had no issues at all with heat, lockups, or artifacts. The only issue I had was that the died on me :(

If I understand the question correctly:

GPU x2 SLI GTX 260m - Stock (not overclocked)
    CPU Q"x"9200 @2.75 (from 2.403)
A nice boost in games here and there (as 2.4 was fine to run Crysis), and temps are fine fine fine :3

    Thanks.

am testing some settings and will post results back.

Does trottlestop monitor the 5870 GPU temps in taskbar ? ... (I think it should, but mine does not :( )

I couldn't get any of the settings for GPU temps to work either. When I click on the GPU options they will not let me check the boxes. If you use HWInfo32 for your temps it has a really nice desktop gadget for monitoring temps. It's in the HWinfo32 folder (I'm using the portable version and it's there).

Ironically I just had my first power supply shutdown. The laptop just went dark immediately. I'm not sure why it didn't continue to run on battery? I turned it right back on but noticed it was only on battery. I had to unplug the power brick from the wall and wait a few mins before I plugged it back in. I can only assume it shutdown from too much power? It wasn't hot as I hadn't done anything yet, was just loading a game, hadn't even played yet.

I play games @ stock settings.. there's absolutely no reason to go game on a 20% overclock in a laptop for one, and two, the hardware isn't slow enough that any dips into the 20s save maybe metro2033 anyway.
