    Tx for reply.

i was thinking if a cable from ltn170bt10 would work for me.
ltn170bt10 are 1400x900 and mine is display is 1920x1200.

no, it wont work properly... you will be missing half the lines, because it has only single link, anything over 1440x900 needs dual link lvds.

Actually, 900p is also dual channel. The cut-off is ≥ 900p, so 800p wouldn't do.

Though there's also a few other potential differences, pin-pitch and left- vs. right-handedness being foremost to rule out. Therefor it'd be better to check which is the currently installed panel; a differently oriented screen means the cable will either be too long (no problem; just tuck the overshoot somewhere) or it'd be too short to physically reach the connector on the display.

You are right, but technically the 900p is 1600x900, and if i recall correctly i've read that 900p and up need dual link, but 1440x900 has 10% less pixels as 900p, and requires only single link. Correct me if i'm wrong.
Anyway back on to the topic, the cable you want is this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/122402013479
All you need is someone willing to ship that to you from the US :)

You make a good point; a 1440x900 might just run on 1-ch, requiring about 2.55 of the 2.8Gbit/s single-channel limit. Afaik, no manufacturer ever made such a panel though, presumably because that limit presumes perfect, laboratory-like conditions.

At any rate, the LTN170BT10 is dual channel. Its cable might be identical to the one in your ebay link. Thanks to the transparent wrapping you can easily tell it's a 2-channel: the majority of the pins are populated.

That ebay cable is a good option and cheap to boot. Apart from taking up deadsmiley's offer you might also use a forwarding service such as Shipito or MyUS. The first one would ask ~$12, although they serve a 'long transit time' warning ... for airmail. Reminds me of a large project shipping across the pond; FedEx Priority at +60% premium resulted in the item getting stuck on a few airports (being trucked to the 'special' section), arriving two weeks later than the rest of the items, which were shipped regular.
