    So I got the alienware 17 with gtx 765m with no os and no drivers cd....its a refurbished product
    I have installed all drivers except for Broadcom drivers for Bluetooth and wifi
    everytime I install it it says activeate Bluetooth using wireless switch...I pressed fn+f2 its not working
    bios it says Bluetooth and wifi are on !!
    cant get it to install ...device manager it says one unknown device other is network controller with exclamatory sign
    plz help its driving me nuts

    Hi there, There was a bit if a mix and match on the R3 and R4 when it comes to wireless card. If dell offer any other drivers try them.

    The unknown device will be the accelerometer (driver available from dell) used to detect the machine being dropped and park the heads.

    Does the wireless button on the media bar light up (second from right)?

    Did you install OSD drivers yet? I am not sure if wifi switch works on Windows 7(or even 8) without installing OSD first.
