I'm a complete noob wen it comes to computer hardware.
    1. How should i proceed to search for compatible Ram sticks?
    2. How do i figure out what RAM sticks are compatible with the CPU?

ark.intel.com (or whatever was it) and you should buy a notebook ram (desktop rams differ)

    Thank you!

I have been checing up installation guides and they all remove the ram in the harder-front area... is that even necessary?
When I make modifications, I would like to leave the 2 under the keyboard, or is that not a option once modding the ones inthe back?

how much RAM do you have now and how much are you upgrading to? It's not always necessary fill all the slots. In my R3 i originally had 4 GB RAM (just the 2 on the back side of the chassis). Upgrading to 8GB and still didn't do anything with the slots under the keyboard. I'll only get to those when need more RAM.

It's better to match all 4 sticks.

There is 4gb ram total ram under the keyboard currently. If I get these:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233265

and place them in the back, I will have a total of 20GB ram?
    Is that how it works?

I'm not actually getting that, i am just wondering about the mechanics.

    Elaborate please.

Ram can have subtly different timings so usually to ensure the best performance and stability getting 4 identical sticks that all like to run at the same speed will avoid any headaches.

That's what he was saying, yes but matching all 4 is usually a better plan.
