Hi guys, lately i've being feeling my PC kinda slow, when i am updating the AV (MAcfee) it use to get laggy if i am playing games, so i deiced to check y RAM etc, i went into the control panel and i found my 8GB there, but, inside () it say (able to use 2.99 GB), on task manager it say almost the same, total 3006 and available 1500, HWInfo32 show me both DIM's, but, why i dont get at least 6.5 GB able to use?, is this normal or there is something wrong?.

i Take off both rams and tried to boot the laptop with one at time in each slot, both boot ok, just once time i got blinking caps lock, num and scroll, but i swicthed the RAM and was ok.

    Thans for your help

Is there an option for memory remapping in the BIOS?

Try resetting your BIOS to default settings.
