    Hi all,

I was having issues with my computer and after a great deal of "messing" around I found that I screwed up my primary video card by using the flash method from an ASUS forum to flash my 5870m with the ASUS VBIOS. My Alienware will not POST with this card installed, primary or secondary slot, it requires a BROADWAY VBIOS before it will recognize the card.

Luckly I have a spare card as I was runing crossfire, I removed the "Bricked" card from the computer and moved the 2nd card into the primary slot. Computer works again.

Problem is now I have a GCARD with the wrong BIOS loaded and the computer will not work with this switched on so cant revert the problem.

So I am looking for either a replacement VBIOS chip so i can replace it, or a complete replacement Alienware 5870M card.

Does anyone know where I can pick one up. I found 2 on ebay but one seems dodgy for 100$ and the other is 250$ seems steep. I suppose I dont even really know how much one is worth.

I would be willing to "swap" my ASUS BIOS card for an Alienware BROADWAY BIOS card if anyone needs my card, seems like a waste otherwise.
