11.11b drivers for 6970m xfire BSOD at boot?

So I'm trying to update my drivers to 11.11b because of Battlefield 3 getting a lag when Crossfire is enabled, but doesn't do it when crossfire is disabled. Searched around and saw 11.11b is suppose to fix that. Problem is, when I install 11.11b, the system BSOD's as soon as it reaches the windows login, where it would normally make you put your user password in, it just crashes.
The procedure I took was:
Download the drivers
Uninstall current drivers in Control Panel / Uninstall a program
Booted into safemode and cleaned out AMD Display Drivers
Booted back into normal windows and ran the 11.11b installation
After that reboots I get the bluescreen and can't boot back into normal windows.
(Booted into safe moded and did a system restore, so its working fine now but its still on the old drivers)

The system is an M17xR2 with user-upgraded 6970m's in crossfire.

EDIT: Just read the recent posts on here and noticed people are having the problem on 11.11 and 11.11a. Guess 11.11b is the same. Is 11.11c for the 6xxxM series? And does anyone have THOSE working?

EDIT 2: 11.11c does the same thing.
From what I read in these recent threads there isn't a fix yet than? :\

Final Edit: My fault for not searching more guys. I now see everyone has the problem and haven't seen anyone with it working on the m17xR2 with xfire. Sorry for making yet another thread about it, its 1am and frustration took over LOL
