Hey guys, so i tried to install the 11.11 drivers but like many others, am getting constant BSOD everytime windows tries to boot up. I system restored back to just before i uninstalled my previous drivers and Gpu-Z claims that i am running 11.9 (which i previously had) but it does not appear that CCC is installed anymore.

AMD only seem to have an 11.11 CCC download on their website so my question is, is it possible to run 11.11 CCC with 11.9 drivers? Should i completely re-install my old drivers by finding the download in another location? Or should i locate the 11.9 CCC and just install that?

Any help is appreciated, as always. Thank you.

Edit: Is it also possible to use the 11.11 cap 1 with previous drivers? Or does it require 11.11? Thanks.

I had this when reverted from 11.10 to 11.9
if you have driver already installed but CCC is missing, you can try going through custom installation, the installer manager can report CCC as already installed, so go through the custom uninstall (uncheck CCC boxes there) then reboot and perform custom installation of CCC. Then you should have CCC

    Hi!

Yes, you can run a new catalyst control-center with older display drivers, although, its not at all reccomended, nor is there any "point of doing so". It could even cause system instabillity if the new CCC is trying to load in preferences which is not existing in the old display drivers.

I would reccomend you to do a clean sweep, with DriveSweeper of course, and then install the driver that you would like. If it still gives you the bluescreen, revert back to 11.10. (Of course, when reverting, sweep with driversweeper, and THEN install 11.10)
