    Can someone please verify that the newer bottom panel (Dell part number C63PY with the extra vents next to the nameplate) is interchangeable with the older bottom panel (Dell part number 11KR8 without the extra vents).

    edit: I guess no one knows for sure :eek:
    I intend to order a few C63PY bottom panels to try out a few cooling mods and wanted to make sure it would work in place of the original 11KR8 bottom panel that I have. I guess I'll just go ahead and order them and find out.

    Both bottom panels are completely interchangeable. I've tested both on my m17x - R3
