    Well, a couple days ago I was able to configure the M17x R3 with the 2720QM, 1080p and 6990m upgrade for 15% off.

    Although now, there seems to be no discount. It still says "More Bang, Less Buck: Save up to 15% off select systems. For a limited time, save 5% when you spend an additional $300, 10% when you spend an additional $600, and 15% when you spend an additional $900 on this computer purchase. Discount applied in cart."

    Also from what I seen before, the deal shouldn't have expired yet.

    My question, is anyone able to get this through the website still, or is it expired?

    I cant get that deal anymore either, but im just gonna call in and yell at some people and ill get the discount i want eventually

    yes it's over, I do remember the website says "discount expire on 8/4 2011..." when I bought my m17x couple of days ago.

    I was lucky I still had credit with Dell the refi check I'm waiting on I don't get until 8/6 and will likely be on hold for a week.

    Far as I knew, it ended on the 4th.

    When I was ordering with my rep, she didn't believe my pricing I recieved through dell.com. I promised her I had it saved in my cart, and she still wouldn't acknowledge the 15% discount until after I emailed her my cart for her to review my specifications.

    If some of the Dell reps didn't know about this deal 10 days ago, I doubt you'll have any luck convincing them to bring it back now.

    Best of luck though, I hope you get it.

    I'm more miserable than you folks here cuz I ordered mine and missed out on the 15% discount. But afaik, you have to customize it using the "icon view" only and follow through till the end, and add item to cart, only will you get 15% off...
