Saw this RAM pop up on newegg, says its plug and play ready for sandy bridge. But according to intel Sandy Bridge (for laptops) goes only up to 1600. Anyone got any idea if I would get 1866 if I got these for my M17xR3?
Heres the link
Newegg.com - Kingston HyperX 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1866 HyperX Plug n Play Laptop Memory Model KHX1866C11S3P1K2/8G

doubt you would get it to run at 1866.
the processors only support 1600
maybe in the future with the refresh. -
1866 Mhz RAM?
