    1. That memory kit is compatible with the M17x R3

    2. No the Alien head is not customisable even if you install The OLD software (btw i don't recommend) because the SMD LEDs are simply not there to begin with. The Alien head gets its white lighting from the screen back lighting or has a separate board with only white SMDs.

    well, in that case you'll have to solder your own red SMDs or find a way to put a red 'filter' between the alien head and the light source :/
    Or on a more complex note make a small PCB with 2-3 RGB SMDs that connects to an alienFX controllable area (keyboard etc.), this way your alien head will light along with the area where you connected it.

    or just smoke alot of pot and imagine the alienhead is a different collour ;p

    supose u have to live where i live to make it a legal option tho ;p
