Thanks Ordered the Crucial C300 (256GB)

will it be enough for gaming a video editing installed as primary (or do I need raid)

I will use the 500GB 7200 rpm that was shipped with the laptop as secondary drive

Hmm.... Im also looking for a ssd and was going with the intel x-25 G2.. But after reading this performace and price i need to think one more time.. Anybody that have this one in their M17x and then how does it work.. Im going to build me a desktop that support sata 3 in the future but for now it will go into my m17x beauty :) Another thing, do you need to buy the extra stuff from dell or is it enough with just this http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_...tor+ailenware+m17x+&_sacat=See-All-Categories.

The M17x supposedly has extra interposer and HDD caddy readily for you in the secondary HDD slot (and some screws too :D) so you don't need anything, not from Dell, not from eBay.

I really like that. It gives the Alienware customers the feeling of being taken care and treated as enthusiasts.

It does, I can confirm this. I just raid 0ed my system not too long ago, and there it was tucked away in its little foam holder in the secondary drive bay :)
