Hi.
I tried to upgrade my drivers using your nvdm.inf file, but the installation program says my video card is not compatible with them.
I have an M17x R3, with the stupid Optimus stuff. Do you think that is the issue?
I have been trying to make this game (FFXI) work with the NVidia video card for almost a week now, with no luck.

Did you rename his attachment to nvdm.inf from nvdm.inf.txt and stick in the DisplayDriver folder? If you didn't do both, you probably didn't get asked to replace the .inf file and are still using the original.

Notice how he has an R1 (280m) and you have an R3 like me (460m). If he did not insert the PCI ID vendor information into the .inf, the installer will not work. You're better off reading Darcoders' threads in regards to updating your video card drivers.

Code:NVIDIA_DEV.0DD1.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M" NVIDIA_DEV.0DD1.03 = "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M " NVIDIA_DEV.0DD1.04 = "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M "
Thanks for the info! -
Yeah sorry, my file was specific to my R1 with 280M GPUs, but all I did was copy in the missing device IDs from the last working .inf (275.30 beta I think) into the broken one. It's easy enough to do as long as you don't miss any lines.

So mine doesnt have a .txt after the .inf, but it sais its a text file in the description. How do i change this? Maybe because im on windows 7?
