    Are there any updates for the 3610qm processor that I should be getting? I only see updates for the HD graphics on intels website and those are completely up to date but my actual CPU drivers are showing up as being from 2006 in device manager. Is this normal?

    CPU's don't really have drivers. Chipsets do however.

    I don't think it's actually from 2006, it must be showing an incorrect date. However, you can get the latest version of the chipset driver here.
