Since I don't game other than BF2 on laptops, this would be fine....I want to use it for 3D movies, and general web surfing, some video editing if I decide to...This is 1900 or so with the 50 off coupon...free shipping. Thoughts?

Buy the Intel 6300 wireless card elsewhere, it'll cost you about $30-40 depending on where, usually with free shipping.
Up to you but you could also get the slot load blu-ray elsewhere as well, but the savings might not be as great, and I know from personal experience from replacing DVDRW with a Blu-ray drive, it is quite involved, so if you're not comfortable taking your machine down to nuts and bolts, just get this put in by Dell. -
If you are only gonna be playing BF2 the m17x is way overkill, look at the Vaio F(the best 3d laptop, if not gonna be be gaming) or XPS 17 instead.
