    I just came up with a software called Tridef and it is really awesome and converts any movie,picture or game to 3d and it doesnot matter if its Nvidia or Ati. Give it a shot. It has 14 days of full trial version. Even having 3d Vision in my laptop, I liked the Tridef conversion more than that of 3d Vision because I was getting more depth and realish with stuff coming out of the screen. Be sure to share your experience.

    Does this require the same glasses as nVidia sells or is there a cheaper alternative?

    Its red/cyan so you can get one off ebay. I got one for 16 cents free shipping from China and it works like charm. One problem is you will see everything dark so better play in the night to get more details.

    Not quite what I am looking for. I need a program that lets me author Bluray 3D on my burner so I can share my video files on 3D TV.

    Better yet, they need to rush development of glasses-less 3D displays...

    Anyone know where to buy a quality cyan-red glasses? Those on eBay are poorly made w/ paper and super thin plastic :(

    DealExtreme: $3.66 Re-useable Sport Style Plastic Frame Resin Lens Anaglyphic Red + Blue 3D Glasses
    there's heaps of them on this site ranging from $2 to $30
    just do a search on it for 3d glasses.

    nice find btw, +rep

    oh and for those that don't know, this type of anaglyphic 3d basically renders colour useless. it's still fun to try out though!

    @Lordqarlyn...
    They might be coming with an update for bluray and hd stuff..
    But you should be happy to play games in 3d with ATI.

    What do you mean? The software Emulates 3D like the Nvidia kit on previous games they don't make 3D games :confused:

    not "true" 3D games, i.e., stereoscopic vision, like they use for 3D TV. Just the rendered 3D.

    I tested it on my R2 w/ 100" display. The result is not so good. Too much blur no matter how you adjust the settings.

    Well, after having my camera for a few days now, I am thinking that a lenticular LCD would work quite well for a laptop. 3D without the glasses, it works great with displays intended for straight-on, relatively close viewing.

    And the 3D can easily be turned off if not needed.
