    Hey guys,
This thread is for 3D gaming questions related to the m17x. If your like me and love 3D you may find this thread helpful.

Since ATI does not have shutter glasses there are a few polarized options available:
iZ3D (current monitor however is not 1080p, future monitor will be but no release date yet)
    Zalman ZM-M240W monitor (claims full 1080P 3D)
both above are polarized solutions... no shutter glass type similar to Nvidia vision is available yet. However ATI has open source 3D available to developers so it may be possible in the future.

However I am not sure if these will work with the m17x due to needing a DVI-D output. Monoprice has a display port to DVI-D dongle. Anyone know if this would work?

If anyone else has anymore 3D info please share :)

found some interesting iZ3D news in their forum... They will have a 27" available by the end of the year

"It will be a 27" display with 16:9 aspect ratio
FullHD full resolution in 3D (fullHD per eye)
It will probably have a 2ms response time (not sure)
The front panel will have sub-pixel precision (the current 22" front panel only has single pixel precision)
The monitor will support some sort of single cable connection (we don't know whether it will be DVI dual link or Display Port or Hdmi1.4)
The monitor will have HDCP support (mandatory for BluRay3D)
Ghosting wise, the iZ3D team says that the monitor "has passed the ghosting test", whatever that means (no ghosting or ghosting similar to other 3D displays ?)
It will use circular polarisation (compatibility with the RealD cinema 3D glasses)
iZ3D is partnering with Gunnar optics to provide very high quality circular polarized glasses with the monitor.

There is no official ETA for the monitor but we expect it to be released by the end of the year."

I am surprised that no one has commented on your thread...
I have the same config m17x as you except dual 320s in raid 0. Actually, its on its way, haven't received it yet, but i was curious about its capability to output a 3d signal. Any new news?

Ps, how you liking your system? Seem worth the $?
