Not sure how long you had your computer, but did you make you have the latest drivers for everything? Including going to the Intel website...

Dell can be behind the times with there updates unless its very urgent. For example I just received my M18x about 10 days ago, and Nvidea already had new updates for my cards and Dell still has no update for the new video drivers and my score gained for than 800 just from the updated drivers.

Never hurts to look around for everything.

Nah, just your CPU turbo boost throttling down.

    Do section 1 here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...-2960xm-cpus-m17x-r3-without-modded-bios.html

And run ThrottleStop, tick clock modulation 100%, tick set multi turbo and turn on. Should give you 22k CPU 24/7. Section 1 should be enough though, might not need TS.

Can you explain how to do that without ThrottleStop step by step :) if i do just a bios modification in Advanced tab would be that enough to always stay at turbo clocks?

    Depends on your temps.

If the bios settings do not work then download ThrottleStop and do as I said in my previous post (already step by step).

If my temps would be high - it will throttle, right?
