    3d through hdmi in?

    I looked but couldnt find the answer.

    Does the m17x 3D offer 3D through the hdmi in?

    If I wanted to play some gran turismo in 3d from my ps3; would I be able to do that by connecting it into my m17x 3d?

    Nope. IIRC, the HDMI In has no way of controlling the 3D sequencing transmitter in the laptop.

    Also the HDMI input is 1.3.

    3D requires HDMI 1.4a

    im assuming there's no way to make any of that happen as well correct? It would be hardware that is needed and not software

    Correct and correct. No way to update HDMI 1.3 to 1.4a, and no connectivity to the 3D sequencer. It's a straight HDMI Input, just like a plain TV.
