    Ok i just tried bf3 and its not great with the 460m - whats best place to purchase a card to install my self

    Did you install the 480M yourself or you're reffering to the 460M?

    The 480m is no good. You need the 580m. There is one in the marketplace :)

    I just picked up a 485M on eBay for $550. Too bad you missed out on it. You also didn't mention if you have 3D Vision or Optimus. If you have Optimus, you could acquire a 6990M for a lot less than a 580M.

    Whats the rest of ur system spec? I also have a 460m and im playing it on high and the fps rarely dips below 35fps. On ultra im getting about 25fps ish.
