    I'm new to this forum and Ive been looking everywhere for an answer to my question. Does anyone know if the gtx 485m will work with the mx 17rd3 with 3d? I know the 580m would work but that's ridiculously expensive. Any help would be appreciated.

    The main reason is because Dell never officially "supported" the 485m, even though there was a big deal about it before in the past.

    I've heard that the problem is with the dell drivers not supporting it. I wonder if I download a modded .inf driver, would it work?

    The card itself will work. The 3D function will not.
