Which one is the better card? About to order a system, the 580m cost more but heard rumors the 6990m would have better performance over the 580m and is alot cheaper. If there was a thread about this please link me to it.

We don't know the specs of the 6990M yet, but I think it's safe to assume that the 6990M will be at least on par with the GTX 580M...

Yeah should be on par or even better. Its a lot cheaper then the 580m. I owned Nvidia and AMD cards before without problems. Think I will go with AMD this time.

AMD has been doing a great job lately with its graphics cards so I would say 6990m

Ichime supposedly had an engineering sample 6990m or something, what happened to it, anyways? It was a one of a kind card!
