I have made a boo boo! and now because of it I have to buy 2 new 5870's and all the crossfire stuff as Dell does not offer the 4870 anymore. I was quoted this
RV546 1 Card,Graphics,Hard Drive,5870,Parker,Mobile Pci Express Module,Cable $334.99 and was told that included both video cards crossfire cable and HSF! seems kinda low to me and I need to make sure that I am buying the right thing before I make another mistake down the line.

    Thanks

That appears only to be the slave card unfortunately...For the performance gain, I'd say save your money since you'll be looking at $600+ for the set.

So what is the P# for the primary card? does anyone know? I might just buy it from dell and call it done.

youll never get them, plenty of people have ordered them and never gotten them, getting refunds instead. youll have to search them out second hand.
the dell pn for the master card is C8245, the slave card with cable is Rv546. someone has them both in the market place for $300 pounds each.
