    5870 dead after flash VBIOS- M17x R2

    Hi all.

    My 17xR2 sometimes freezes when i turn on, and it's very slow slow image display.

    I just update Vbios for fixing some issue, but one of two graphic card is dead, black screen, can't use Alt Ctrl Del. The led error code showing Caps lock & Scroll flashing, Num lock stay on.

    I just remove dead VGA, now running only one VGA.

    Can you show me how to re-flash my VGA.

    Put it in the slave slot , remove the CF bridge, power up . Use Atiflash to reflash it , or you can do it through a booting USB as well . Since you still have one card running , it's easy enough. Or try to contact some guys with a R1 to have them do it for you . They have a IGP so it's even easier for them to do it =))

    If the laptop doesn't boot with it in the secondary slot, you're options are:
    - put it alone in the primary slot and attempt a blind flash.
    -or as above flash it in a system with a IGP.

    What's about "IGP" ??
