I just got my M17X R4. It has the 64gb boot drive. The problem is that it uses it for everything. Installs new programs, my user folder is one there. I can't seem to use the real drive (D: )500gb one)) for anything unless i physically move it there from the boot drive (C: ) and its already at 40gb. does anyone know what i can do to change this?

    thanks

It's very simple to correct that. Go into your user folder and right-click to change the properties for your documents, music, videos, favorites, etc. Click on the location tab and select the drive where you want those folders to be located. (See attached thumbnail.) When you apply the changes, those folders and their contents will be moved to the new destination you selected.

Do what Mr Fox suggested and

Follow the link Revelator posted and there are lots of suggestions there to free up some space for SSD drive

I manage to free up 30GB of disk space on my 64GB SSD. Thanks Revelator!
