Hey guys , I'm wanting to upgrade my r4 witch has a 660m in it. Do you think the 675m would be worthy of the upgrade price? I would be overclocking it as well. Would I be able to get around a 680m performance from an oc'd 675? I have the 3d screen so ati is out of the question.

    Thanks in advance

Hi, I OC my 675m and the performance is pretty good for me, even in 3D. It's not a 680m as far as game FPS's go, but it's good enough that I have held off of getting a 680m :)

    hey
i have a problem with my m17x r3(580m ) , iget blue screen withing minutes while playing a game with the nvidia only!(not with integrated graphics)
i have already replaced motherboard nvdia card hard disk(it s dead because i formatted him 5 times , hoping that the problem is software) proccesor and heatsinks

no solution found, error code is 116 and file which probably cause the problem is the nvkflt.sys

Hi, with all that replaced AND a reinstall it's rather strange. Get 'whocrashed' which will examine the BSOD logs and give you some better information on what is going on.

When you reinstalled windows did you use only Dell published drivers first? - grabbing at straws here!

Also, try a hardware diags to make sure it's nothing obvious with the HW. I believe it's on F12 at the bios screen.

    Good Luck.

Edit: Do you use torrents ;) ?

675MX scores around 4000 3d marks, a nice step above the 675M but a bit of a step down from the 6000 from the 680M.

Have you flashed an unlocked vbios?

    .
Not exactly 'unlocked', I use a vbios that has matched P0 and P1 (at 620 stock) clocks/boltage. You can access P1 clock using NvidiaInspector but the voltage drop causes problems. P1 is often triggered (power throttle) in new games until the driver gets optimised. I avoided overvolt vbios as there have been some 'meltdowns'! This one's OK to 720 then starts artifacting, the previous 580 I had went to 750 on stock voltage.

Awesome thanks for the info! I'm planning on flashing one of svl's modded vbios. I don't think he's overvolted anything. Would hate to fry my new 500 dollar card after all :)

    Exactly!

I'm not sure if it was one of his as all I did was ask here for a stock, matched P1 and P0, and got a good link :D I have seen some of his work - pretty cool. Just avoid .92V and you should be good :)
