Hey guys I just bought a eurocom 675mx and successfully installed it into my r4. One problem is my 3d vision is not working. The option doesn't exist in the nvidia control panel anymore, it worked just fine with my little 660m. Any ideas what to do? I did have to use a modified .inf to get the drivers to install, but I can't see that being an issue...... Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks in advance for all your help :)

Edit: Are eurocom cards clevo? if so could that be the problem ?

You'll need the right vbios for it all to be detected properly, as to how the alienware VBIOS will react to your clevo card, I am not sure.

Same issue with the r3 and even the Dell 680m. If the card isn't a verified card (Nvidia 660m, 675m, 680m) I don't think it will work for 3D as far as I know. :(

Yes there is some sort of handshake it seems to do compared to other brands (so long as the Vbios supports it an MSI will list 3d external quite happily).

Since the card must be in the BIOS 3D certified list, which the MX will not, you are SOL :(.

A guy called svl7 that does bios mods was here a while ago, and the last I saw he was looking into adding 3D to the R3/680m combo. Don't know if there was any success, wasn't really following it

I'm pretty sure it would work if you got the external emitter as I think this is what does not get installed if the card is not listed - but an expensive test!

This is true, MX is not in the list. Maybe a vBIOS flash could help you getting it to work the way it is supposed to and you can always try the external method.

You'd just purchase the 3D vision kit. You'd end up with two sets of glasses but it has a USB emmiter to 'talk' to the glasses. This is supposed to work on any NV kitted machine but laptops can be tricky. I think the built-in emitter is not being activated (it uses a virtual USB port) so you don't even get the option in the driver - but this is a guess

Gotcha thanks for the info. The way he put it kind of made me think of some type of "hardware mod"
