    Can someone provide the latest drivers for 6870m and also how do i go about installing them....would i need to completely uninstall the previous ones......if someone could guide me on how i can do that ....drive sweeper or anythign ??

    Here is the driver page for Catalyst 12.6, and Catalyst 12.7 beta (use the beta drivers at your own risk). I know it says Desktop Video Card Drivers, but the package README says it also covers the AMD Mobility Radeon HD 6000M Series. To install them, just download and run the installer. Follow the on-screen directions. You should only have to uninstall the old drivers if they or the new drivers are giving you problems or an error message during installation. So let's start simple. Download the installer and run it. If the drivers say they've been installed successfully, then check out the driver version in Device Manager to confirm.

    Hello Trooper, to perform a clean install follow these steps:
    1. Run the AMD Uninstaller
    2. Run Driver Sweeper, select ATI/AMD and then clean, restart
    3. Install the new driver version

    Hey frank i would like to ask you why dell give us so big trouble with the custom dell drivers.Because some people when they try to install drivers from the amd site they getting this error

    "software updater cannot be downloaded due to incompatible hardware/software on your computer
    The version of your graphics adapter is not supported
    Please contact your notebook manufacturer for a graphoics driver update"
