    6970M driver not responding + sound lagged.

    I just have my first Alienware delivered 1 week ago. But it have had a really annoying problem.

    From time to time no matter what I'm doing either surfing or playing game. My pc hanged for a few second. Then one msg box "amd driver stopped responding and has recovered" will popped out. I have tried to update my AMD driver but the issue still exist. Is my GPU faulty? Should I request for a brand new system? or just a bad driver?

    One more thing is acting strange is when I listen to media or youtube some time the sound just lag for like 1 second. No idea what is happening :(

    Same exact problem. Happens to me while playing a game for more than 10 minutes.

    I don't think mine is a temperature issue, as it is running cool. Maybe the GPU is faulty? If that is the case, I will never get a ATI card again, knew this was a mistake going away from Nvidia.

    Contacted Dell, their tech just said upgrade your driver with Dell official one. Dell support is terrible at the very best :(. I'm still having sound lagged and pc hanged while playing game :(. Anyone can help ?
