6970m + 11.9 questions

(I'm messing around with my friend's laptop if anyone's wondering)

So I've installed 11.9 drivers, and so far they work most of the time. But I ran into a few problems.

1. Sapphire Trixx won't start, it will immediately cancel itself and say "Could not install driver: The specified service has been marked for deletion."
2. Crysis 2 Freezes the computer at random points no matter what graphic settings, and by freeze, I can hear the bgm but I can't alt + tab, open task manager, nothing but force a shutdown by holding the power button.
(No Dx11 or high rez patch, just installed via crysis 2 disk, so its still on 1.0 version).
3. Few games don't alt + tab very well. I get a black screen, and it takes 3+ alt tabs to get it back to showing the game. Happens so far on HoN, SC2, Dota 2, and Dead Space 2.

Any recommended resolutions? I was thinking of reverting to 11.8 and hoping trixx + the other issues are fixed, but if there's a workaround to most of these issues, please let me know.

been working perfectly for me, trixx worked too.

been using it for like a week now, with no problems. even did some benching with trixx using it too.

still worth redownloading and reinstalling.

 

hmnn, well figured out Trixx error, it was bugging out and overwriting itself somehow, so that's fixed.

Still no luck on the other 2 problems though, and I reinstalled the driver.

 

your number 2 (i.e., crysis 2 freezing) was erradicated in one of the first few patches. They are up to patch 1.19 now so i'd definitely install it
