    Hi guys,
The 6970M does have support for 3D but does the m17x actually let you do it?
Or do you have to connect it to a external screen that can do 3D, like the Alienware screen?

Sorry if this has allready been answered, my friends say I suck with google :p

The 120hz screen is not an option with any AMD parts on any laptop, as far as I'm aware. AMD has some third-party 3D support but they tend to say very little to nothing about it. I wouldn't count on the same level of compatibility as what you get with 3DVision, which honestly is not that great to begin with in terms of games compatibility (less than 10 games are fully 3D Vision Ready).

Fair enough, 3D wasn't the selling point for me. Just thought it would be nice to have it if I wanted it!

    Thanks

3D is awesome but 3D on 17" won't make you feel that much of "3D" you will see those object flew out and gone beside your 17" screen , but with 52" 3D TV or larger that would be better.
