    I am having trouble running Win8 on my r3. It shows it is running of the integrated graphics card, I am trying to install the catalyst software so I can use the 6970. I installed it but when I go to open it, it says "There are currently no settings that can be configured using Catalyst Control Center"

    When I go to device manger its status is "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

    Current specs are;

    6970m, soon to be 580m
    16gb ram
    i2630

    I have it running on my system with no problems with graphics drivers at all. I have nividia though and i don't know much about the ATI drivers. :(

    Seriously guys, what do you expect? It's a very early dev version, maybe not even proper alpha code... only meant for the developers to get familiar with the new interfaces.
    You can't expect driver support for any hardware, especially not for mobile GPUs.

    ATI lists driver compatibilty and released several new drivers for it, I have been messing with different drivers and so far I have found 3 that are compatible with win8. I think its a problem with the switchable graphics, since the card is off and not turning on.
