Hey guys, upgraded my 560m to the 6990 today on my r3.
Upon bootup, everything went great, using the A08 BIOS, there is no intel GFX being used. However once I installed AMD drivers (tried dell and tried new 11.4) the screen is noticeably darker in Windows and colors seem faded.

I'm stumped. Tried windows screen calibration and tried screen color properties in the catalyst control center, both don't really do justice.

you are the second person to complain about low brightness after installing the 12.4's

i think its a driver issue. You can install a previous driver and see if it helps.

I didn't see any screen brightness complaints on the 12.3 cats

I had this issue when i disabled the intel graphics card.

Hummm, well nvidia doesn't use intel integrated, so i think your screen will be like this while u have the 6990m.

But try to install the unlocked A08 and see if u have the option to enable it. Its worth a try.

    I agree!

12.4 does have screen brightness issues + I disabled integrated graphics.
