    guys can i work a ture 7.1 headset like the razar timaz 7.1 with the r4 , or do i need an external sound card ?

    Requirements list:

    PC with built-in 3.5mm audio jacks & 1 USB port
    7.1 Surround Sound-enabled Sound Card (for 7.1 Mode)

    This does have 7.1 Digtial Audio out using HDMI out connection or S/PDIF Optical port

    So you may run into some problems using a converter S/PDIF to USB and some quality may be lost.

    I would suggest contacting Razor through LIVE CHAT and finding out about sound quality loss.
