So I just got my M17x R2 and I was originally charged for a i7 940. Once I started it up I found out it is really a i7 720. While i'm happy with it I would like to get the difference in money back. Anyone know how much a difference in money it would be to go from 720 to 940? Thanks.

How would you say the 720 will be for gaming?

hmmmmm......i use to get 30-35fps but now with 920xm i get 55-60 fps in GTA IV. The processor makes a huge difference since i can run a quad core game at 3.5ghz where you run the same game at 1.6ghz. Get you $1k back and buy an 920xm ES chip on ebay for $400. Where did you get the laptop from and how much did you pay for it cause something shady is going on with chips being switched out and you being shafted.

If I wanted to go with the 940xm would this be the one I need?
Intel® Core i7-940XM Processor Extreme Edition SLBSC

And if it is, do I need anything else with it like heatsink or anything like that?
