I have almost got switching to work. You can try my HWiNFO fix in my sig, or you can give what I have done a try.

You must do a clean uninstall of your AMD drivers. Use driver sweeper and clean the registry....ect....

First thing you need to do is download the Dell 7970M drivers for the R4.

    Install those, then restart.

After the restart, download whatever AMD driver you wish to install. I think the latest one's I have tried were 13.6 Beta2.

After the install, restart and you should be up and running with no screen dim issue. If you switch your graphics, it will switch from the 7970m to the HD3000 without any issue. But if you try to switch from the intel to 7970m, you will get a black screen. The system isn't frozen, just a black screen, so you can switch again and be back on the intel graphics. You will need to restart to get back to the 7970m.

I don't have plans to look into this much more seeing that I have sold my R3, but if someone figures it out, please post the fix. I'm sure there are many members wanting a clean fix.
