Hey, new to this forum after lurking for awhile and finally purchase a M17x R4 last week with the 7970m graphics chip. Today I was researching Adobe Premiere and came across they support only for nVidia.

I looked this up online and there seems to be something dealing with CUDA being supported on nVidia and OpenCL on AMD not.

Ive been everything Apple my whole life and am new to PC so could someone please explain this to me? Thanks!

Thankyou! After reading so much good about the 7970 I was hoping I would not have to abort it for a nVidia. :)

no, at this point in time dumping Apple AND Nvidia is a good thing for those that depend on CS heavily.

newer CPu's give 10-15% boost ( im assuming you mean ivy bridge 3XXX CPU, over sandy bridge 2XXX CPU's )
