    8358 pc mark vantage score on my r2... help!?

    well manage to get a code to upgrade my m17x r2, and i redone it 1 week after recieving, and its 8358.. heres picture :

    power settings on high performance, ATI set to high performance, and turbo one, with crossfire! does anyone know whats wrong with it?

    first guess is stealth mode, check it then re check it. what clocks is gpu-z reporting???

    thanks for reply mate!

    well i jsut ran it for 1 min, one card is 300 core cloak and 500 gpu memory, other card didnt show any change but it was just for 1 mint osee if they went up.. CPU-z is showing 3.3 ghz, so stealth cant be one =/, really stumped.

    SLI seems to work in games tho - farcry 2

    any idea, im worried =/

    yeah check stealth 5870 stock clock are 700/1000 your clocks seems to be 2d clocks.

    press your stealth button, the odometer touch button. then check gpu-z to see if your clocks go back up to 700/1000. if it does then rerun the bench.

    ok ill do it after this download. should it go to 700 even from start of vantage? in gaming its fine @ 700! if that dont fix it what do you think?

    well i rebooted and checked, all is same as before, i took a screeny of what the gpus are at :

    do you think it could be a faulty motherboard or processor? as my fans keep revings up and down on photoshop even tho temps are ice cool..

    but gaming its fine??? could be an issue with the benchmark itself, wish some of the M17x owners would help out on this one. do you have power play? try disabling it.

    ye only got farcry 2 installed, runs smooth with sli and CF ultra high setttings, Warhammer online as some flicker on CF so i turn it off. ye i do ill try powerplay off and see what it shows, now. appreciate the help btw m8 thnx

    with power save off, one card is 300 core, and 400 memory idle. other is 150, and no change =/

    am i being a noob? or is it when people post results for 'vantage' tjhey mean 3d mark vantage? and not pc mark vantage?
    i just ran 3d mark vantage and got 13500 similar to what people have linked, so im hoping i was getting the two mixed up! anyone confirm pls ? thnx

    are u sure stealth mode isnt on? use the stealth indicator. your results are about what a machine in stealth mode would get. even a single 5870 would score higher.

    EDIT : just realized your running pc mark not 3DMARK....lolz run 3d mark instead and see what your scores are

    thnx for reply guys, but 1 hour ago, my 2nd card stopped working again.... had to reinstall! contacted alienware, and there giving me a refund, waiting to see to wait for m18x in september or just reorder, phoned my last sales guy, got everything i had before (i7 920, 2 5870. 1 terr HD with 8 gig ram for £3580 , not bad from £4200, but will need to think about it =/
