Well i have a bit of a weird issue , i thought my card was giving up the ghost and ordered myself a 980m , but by chance i changed it to dedicated mode and the 880m works without a hitch , 3dmark , all games run fine for hours with not one issue but as soon i enable both cards and try and run a game it crashes the system big time and i have to turn of the system and restart , it cant be the 880m can it ? , i mean on its own it works flawlessly and never crashes , could the built in intel one be at fault ? i have all the latest drivers etc etc etc , so please any ideas would be appreciated .....thanks in advance

I will be selling the 880m as only had it just over 1 year and will need to know its ok , so to verify..... if it works on it own without issue in games etc tested it for 3 hrs with witcher 3 not one problem , and thats in dedicated mode basically the only card showing in device manager then does that mean all is good with the card ?, the issues only arise if both the intel and nvidia are enabled ..and even though its set to use the nvidia card for 3d applications it bombs out and i have to restart , please if anyone has some ideas please share ...thanks

Uninstalling all the graphics drivers (Intel and NVidia) with DDU in safe mode, then installing Intel and NVidia should resolve all the driver issues.

Hi Yeah done all that thanks , the things is when each one is loaded independently of each other they both work as they should but as soon as they load together as is when u right click on the desktop and both intel and nvidia options show thats when it all goes wrong ,they are conflicting somehow , tried different nvidia drivers the intel 4600m has the latest so not driver related , is there a switch which tells the intel chip not to be used its like both are trying to load up at the same time but i do have nvidia setup as the main gpu in all 3d applications ....was really hoping to sort this ..really getting on my nerves now ..
