    Hi guys,

My title may miss lead some members, so I apologise for that. Anyway, moving on. I recently purchased an AW 17 with the single 880m. I'm now looking to upgrade and go with the 880m twins. Is it possible to go down the SLI route with my current configuration?

    GTX 880m 8 GDDR 5

Thought as much. Damn it, was really hoping to upgrade since there won't be an unlocked vbios anytime soon for my model.

You don't need 2 880M's... 1 is more than enough to burn any game on full HD res...

Actually, no it's not, games such as BF4, Crysis 3 or thief do not reach 60fps with a single GTX880M at 1080p with video settings maxed out (in fact, crysis3 will be closer to 40fps)
It's still very playable, not to mention you can lower the video settings, it's just not the top of the line PC gaming experience you could get.

It should be enough for his 900p screen though.

IT should be able to run them smoothly on that screen. And just to certify the previous answers, no it is not possible. :p
