I'd go for a better video card. I have a 820qm and rather upgrade the video than cpu

I would agree with the video card, the 940XM is a good upgrade but it's not going to boost the gaming performance as much as a new card would.

    For 120 bucks? A 940 or 920 btw?
    Are u kidding me?

Thats cheap, and if its OEM as well its golden.

Id rather go for GPU but that would be at least double the 120.

I agree with everything above, including Trome saying that it's a nice deal, because it is. I'd grab it anyway, even if you won't see a huge performance increase. Save up some more and grab a GPU later on, I doubt you'll come across another cheap XM processor -- there are plenty of 7970M's out there. ;)

Just make sure it's working and not a dead card...

If its 940 even QS, is at least 4 times the price.
A OEM u cant get atm.

If its 920 its 2-3 times the price if its QS.
OEM is about a priced as a QS 940.

The deal is fantastic. U can probably sell the CPU and get a GPU even if its a 920 QS.

For 120, it's a good deal, if it's working/legit. But you'd probably want to consider a GPU upgrade too, but that won't be anywhere near 120, especially if you want a 7970M/780M/680M.

Thanks for the replies guys looks like we're all on the same page lol... I want the gpu but this is almost too good to be true.... I'm gonna meet up with the guy with my laptop in pieces on one hand and a tube of thermal paste in the other to try it before I hand him the money lol

Do that. The 920/940 will be more and more difficult to come by, especially if its an OEM sample.
Worst case, u sell it after checking it good and buy a GPU for the cash.
Best case, buy it and then buy a GPU in a while, if 120 is all u got then any good GPU you wanted to purchase is out of the question anyways.
