I just downgraded to the AO2 bios by mistake without reading. Its the current one on the site (ao2) but mine shipped with ao4. Anyone know the link to an ao4 bios?

Can't find any reference links or web pages to the A04 BIOS. Why did you downgrade in the first place? Was there an issue with your system?

well he did say it was a mistake, because theres another thread here that says A02 is the newest, and he blindly flashed his bios with that.
shame really, but i'd say if you don't have problems with the A02 like most of us here, why not just using it for awhile until A04 is fully released.
shoulnd't be too far ahead if the new laptops already rollin in A04.

The only inconvenient you may run into is if your rig supports 3D as the A02 version had some bugs with the 3D support. If that's the case you'll have to wait until Thursday for the "new" BIOS you already had :p

I just got a new M17xR4 last week and I had the A04 BIOS installed. On Sunday I had a problem with my sound card disappearing out of the device manager. I have now installed A02 which is supposed to be the BIOS that fixes this issue. I find it funny that A04 seems to still have the sound card issue. Since I have installed A02 I have not had a single issue with my sound card.

Once the new BIOS is released, please try it and send me a PM with feedback regarding the sound issues (You shouldn't have any as all the fixes were implemented, but anyway just in case).

can you please unlock the vbios for the GTX 660M. My doesn't even use the card to its fullest. (only @ 835MHZ clockspeed when running games) The turbo boost is disabled. Only happens for Alienware.
