    Howdy newbie.

You need to flash the Unlocked A11 BIOS in order to make those options available. You can get them by searching for M17x R4 A11 unlocked BIOS.

I had no idea there was an unlocked version.... I thought something was weird I had never seen a bios where I couldn't actually change things. I'll post back any results.

Alright, I cant find any files to download for free without some condition im not agreeing to.

My birthday is tomorrow March. 21st someone please find me an unlocked A11 bios or... a previous version that is safe to run.

Please let it be a .exe because installing something to a flash drive and booting from it is scaring me....

Im stressed out because I cannot disable my intergrated graphics I completely regret reinstalling windows now...

Dell does not offer chat or email support for the alienware m17x R4 which is bull. I would have to pay for help......

Someone make my birthday wish come true and get my this stress out of my life.

I need an unlocked bios so I can disable the intel graphics or my fn+f7 switching restored as it is not working and I have been working on this for 2 days already.....

Flashing the Unlocked BIOS is not so easy anymore with the flash security. Download the BIOS from here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9H5v9LnPfsTUVZ5d2swWHlQWU0/edit?usp=sharing

Then follow the instructions here ( [M17x R4] - 'unlocked' BIOS versions) to flash them. Warning, since you've got A11 already flashed, you need to use method two and flash the BIOS using a DOS bootable USB and such. It's method #2 in the OP. It's also much safer doing it that way cause it only changes the BIOS and not the entire firmware as a full .exe flash would.

Yes I had been reading that guide and every single item on there is not downloadable unless I buy a membership or post a few times on their forum and have each post authorized by a moderator.... its such a hassle... I'll talk to my uncle sometime about this as it goes beyond my expertise and I do not want to mess this up.

The steps in the guide seem tough the steps for making a dos bootable device dont' seem so bad but I have to find all those downloads somewhere else...
