    Okay, so I don't know a great deal about computers so I have a question regarding AA in the CCC. Do I always want to use the application settings for the best performance possible? Or do I adjust these settings manually in CCC? Also, AF and triple buffering as well as vertical refresh. Basically, what are the optimal settings for performance in CCC?

    I will go with a very simple answer:

    If your aren't a power user, you should stick to default settings.

    For example, in your case, AA give a smooth visual to low resolution graphics edge.

    But, with the specs you have, running a game in native resolution (1920 x 1200) will not require any AA because with this kind of resolution, there is no edge at all on a 17' screen !

    AA is very resource demanding too, so you shouldn't force it through the CCC, leave it to "managed by the application" option.

    The only thing you can play with is the A.I catalyst : set it to Normal or Advanced, don't disable it (un-tick the box) because it would disable your CrossfireX, leaving you with a Mono-Gpu solution.

    Hope I could help.

    Ya that does help :) thx. What about AF though? Should I be turning this all the way up in my games or leaving it as it is?

    AF = anisotropic filtering.

    A little bit more important than AA with your spec, AF will enhance your overall experience by rendering things in the background very well (no blurry low-def texture). But... As AA, it's really not mandatory at all ! Action is in the foreground ! ;D

    On the other hand, it might be really interesting in flight simulation !

    If you have extra FPS to spare, a 8x AF is good (I don't see the difference with 16x) but as AA, don't force it via CCC.

    Leave it to managed by the application, you will always find a rollover menu to set it in the graphic options of your favorite game !

    Yeh not so much in particular games. Some games it is fine. All maxed out running great. Its mainly a driver issue though. AMD is working on it slowly LOL.

    Cheers. :)
