Ok so as I posted in this thread: XSplit Forum • View topic - Streaming BF3 thru capture card on same system question

I'm looking to start streaming my gameplay more seriously, so I'm trying to set up an external streaming option from my desktop.

As that thread continued, I was told that there are USB 3.0 capture cards that would allow me to utilize my laptop as a dedicated streaming rig *SUPPOSING* that it has *true* superspeed USB3.0

This link Universal Stupid Bus 3.0 The blog of Brett explains what I mean about true superspeed USB3.0

So my question here is does anyone know the actual USB3.0 capabilities of my m17x.r3

And if the USB3.0 only offers the 2.5gbps bandwidth due to the PCIE running my 6970m, would switching to integrated GPU relieve this bottleneck and allow all 5 to the USB3.0?

For anyone that needs this info:
    M17x.r3
    6970m
    2720QM
purchased roughly 1 year ago (right when they first released the new m17x with the 2nd gen i7's)
The only parts I see that might be my motherboard parts are:
    T3T66
    KN579
    V9KPP

I appreciate any help you guys can give me.
